The computer labs offer PCs and Macs to students, faculty and staff at two of the Naropa campuses: Arapahoe and Paramita.
Arapahoe Computer Lab Hours (Spring 2010):
Monday through Thursday: 8:30 a.m.–9:00 p.m.
Friday: 8:30 a.m.-7:00 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday: 12:00–7:00 p.m.
Location: Basement of the Administrative Building next to the Student Center
Paramita Computer Lab Hours (Spring 2010):
Monday through Thursday: 8:30 a.m.–9:00 p.m.
Friday: 8:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday: 12:00–6:00 p.m.
Location: next to the student lounge
NOTE: The computer lab hours may change depending on the time of the year.The labs are closed during Naropa-observed holidays and for Practice day.
There are currently a total of fifty-four Windows xp PCs and two Macs (OS X or higher) in the main lab, while there are eight Windows XP PCs and two Macs in the Paramita lab. Computers are equipped with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Publisher) for PC and Mac, as well as Adobe Photoshop 7.0, Adobe Illustrator 10, Adobe Reader 8.0 and media players (Windows Media Player, Real Player, QuickTime); some computers have headphones. Select computers have WordPerfect and Open Office. In cooperation with the library, the Paramita and Arapahoe labs have copies of the Olympus digital recorder software installed on select computers.
Each lab offers black and white laser printing (10¢ per page); the Arapahoe lab has a scanner. Both labs have CD burning capabilities. Labs are staffed, so if you have any questions or problems with the computer, printing, scanning, etc., you can ask a staff member immediately.
